But one little girl who wrote to the "Be An Elf" campaign (which aims to give poor children what they want for Christmas) didn't ask for the latest Barbie doll or a pony—what she most wanted was a guinea pig to give her some love. However, the second wish on her list?Heart-wrenching.
The form letter prompted the girl to write what she would like for Christmas if the elves weren't too busy, so she selflessly asked for "dad not to hurt mummy" anymore.
